Mrs. Julia Teunissen, BSc, has been working for the Knoops’ Innocence Project since July 2019. She researches and analyzes various review cases and advises on possible new research possibilities. She also works at the secretariat of Knoops’ advocaten. Together with the other members of the secretariat, she supports the entire team of Knoops’ advocaten. They ensure that your case is handled with care.
Mrs. Teunissen worked as a student-researcher for Project Gerede Twijfel in which, under the leadership of Prof. P.J. van Koppen, criminal cases are investigated in which there may be an wrongful conviction. She also worked as a research assistant at the University of Amsterdam and as a volunteer for Humanitas. She is currently working on the completion of a master’s degree in Interventional Criminology, in which she also followed the Research Track.
